San Francisco: Hotel Des Arts

Wow, we had to pick the most perfect hotel in San Francisco. Hotel Des Arts offered a clean room full of character and personality. Each room in the hotel has been uniquely hand painted by local San Francisco artists. Located in the Nob Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, Hotel Des Arts doubles as an art gallery located in the middle of nightlife, restaurants and retail. We definitely recommend it for future visits. We stayed in Room 404, painted by Tim Gaskin. Side note: the hotel has an old school Otis elevator painted bright red with black side rolling gates (see image 2). Perfection!
